The Support Scourge is a necromancer build that can give barrier to its allies in WvW squads to keep them alive while also providing boons and ripping boons from enemies. Specifically, giving barrier to allies will cleanse conditions from them, give alacrity, might, and extra health. Using your Manifest Sand Shade F1 will help to apply more Effectively, the top DPS build for every class (but Warrior) is a condition build. It's unclear if Warrior performs better on condi or power in terms of pure DPS. Just 3 months ago, Warrior happened to have a 39k power DPS benchmark, and I can't find a more recent Condition benchmark than this one.
Guild Wars 2 is an amazing game that I wholeheartedly recommend. It is an insanely vast game with so many choices and options. With 9 classes, and many different weapons for each class, all of which play differently, it can be hard to figure out what class is best for you. It can even be hard to figure out how to play.
The best open world build by far is the standard raid quick fb build but with litany as a heal. 31k hp, full heal with litany, quickness for 5 in case you do meta events while having perma quickness for himself even without alacrity solo. Could even take soj for vuln. For might just take golden dumplings.
Firebrand: With good DPS and utility, Firebrand is always a safe pick. Hollowsmith: This build got a significant boost from the expansion, making it a viable choice. Revenant: Harbinger is known for its damage output, though it may provide less utility. Spellbreaker: A good option for damage, surpassing many other builds.
