Height: 1.5" (38mm) Taller than stock. Details: The KTM 790/890 R Tall comfort seat has been built up at the front to counteract the natural forward slope of the OEM seat along with a slimmer profile allowing for a more relaxed feel. The rear of the seat has also been widened to provide better weight distribution alleviating un-wanted pressure
The web page lists the seat height, part number, and price of various KTM seats for the 790 Adventure, including the R, S, Rally, and Tall Rally models. It also compares the seat height of the R, S, and Rally models and provides links to third party offers and install reports.
I'm a little confused here. Does the Adventure have a stock 2 piece seat and the Adventure R a 1 piece? If that is the case, will the 2 piece fit on the Adventure R? Okay, I was able to find out that the 2 piece seat, part numbers 63707940044, and 63707947044 (for a whopping $550 CDN) will in fact fit on the Adventure R.
